Band HistoryAnwynn, born in 2007, is a Symphonic Metal band with Death and Heavy influences, mixing melodies and heavy riffs around a female mezzo soprano lead voice and a male vocal arrangement grunting behind it all.
Anwynn is all about Celtic stories in their lyrics, but also in some of the melodies. Psychology, trips, discoveries also have a place within those very same lyrics. Live, Anwynn is good for 100% energy and dynamite: the guys, for instance, are wearing kilts and razor sharp swords on stage! Having used the last 5 years to work out the stage presence, songs and choreographic attitude, as well as producing several outstanding songs to express the Anwynn concept, 2012 is the year for band with the release of their first ever album : Forbidden Songs! And with it, the story for Anwynn continues...
